Preamble

The global economy has embarked upon the growth trajectory with a bang to usher in a new era of expansion and growth after bravely overcoming the onslaughts of the biggest recession. The world needs a new paradigm, new theories, concepts and strategies of management to succeed in the growth efforts. We attempt to look at the advances in management and technology which have helped the economic scenario resurge and/or which can be useful for the corporate, the policy maker and the strategist to map their strengths with the growth opportunities.

The International Conference on 'Advances in Management and Technology: Mapping Strengths with Opportunities' shall provide a platform to researchers, academicians, students, corporates and policy makers to discuss, deliberate and resolve a growth path while identifying the strengths and correcting the weaknesses, by seeing an opportunity in every threat.

Proceedings, Best Paper Award & Publication Opportunities

All submissions will be processed through double blind review. Authors will be given an opportunity for revision. All accepted papers shall be published in a Proceeding form with an online access link. There will be one Best Paper Award in every Track and two best proposals from Doctoral Colloquium on basis of marks awarded during the review process. The award includes certificate and cash prize.

Doctoral Colloquium

The Doctoral Colloquium of ICAMT-15 is intended to act as a forum wherein Ph.D. students get the opportunity to interact and present their work before peers, practitioners and experts.

Eligibility: The research students who have completed two years of research leading to Ph D degree in the area of management or technology are eligible to participate.

Procedure: The participants have to submit a research paper extracted from their research work on any of the broad themes of the Conference. It should be duly forwarded by the Supervisor. The paper may be conceptual/ empirical as per the progress of research work.
Incentive for participation in both, Doctoral Colloquium and ICAMT-2015: Participants who register for both, Doctoral Colloquium and ICAMT are offered a discount of 15 percent on total registration fee.

Submission Guidelines

  • The submission should be in MS-Word format, not exceeding 3,000 words excluding tables and references. The manuscript should be typed in double-space, 12 size Times New Roman Font, on an A4 size paper with one inch margin on all sides.
  • Manuscripts should be compiled in the order of: title page; abstract; keywords; main text; references; appendices (as appropriate).
  • The title page should consist of Title of the paper Identity of authors should not be disclosed elsewhere in the paper. The main text of the paper should begin with title of the paper, an abstract of 200 words (maximum) and 3 to 5 keywords. The structure of the paper should typically comprise Introduction, Literature Review, Research Methodology, Discussion, Analysis and Conclusion. The main heading should be in 14 font size and subheadings in 12 font size and bold. Avoid footnotes as far as possible. The Citations and References should follow APA (6th Edition) Style.
  • Names, Affiliations, Postal Addresses, Telephone Numbers and e-mail Addresses of the authors should not be disclosed at any point in the paper. These details are to be provided at the appropriate space on the Submission Portal

  1. Separate registration is required for participation in Conference and Doctoral Colloquium.
  2. One of the authors must register to ensure inclusion of paper in the Conference Proceedings/ book.
  3. A participant registering for Conference and Doctoral Colloquium will receive a discount of 15% on total fee.
  4. Three and more participants from the same institution shall be entitled to a discount of 15%.
  5. Registration Fee does not include Accommodation.

MNNIT

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad was established in 1961 as Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (MNREC), a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The foundation stone of the Institute was laid by the first Prime Minister of the country, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It was transformed into a National Institute of Technology (NIT) in the year 2002. MNNIT Allahabad was awarded the status of Institute of National Importance by the Government of India in 2007. The Institute admits more than 800 students in nine Undergraduate programmes, 350 students in twenty four Postgraduate programmes (including MBA, MCA, M. Tech, MSW and MSc), and over 100 scholars in PhD programmes in various disciplines of engineering, management science and humanities. Located at the holy city of Allahabad, representing the confluence of culture and knowledge, MNNIT Allahabad is the quintessence of astuteness and inquisitiveness. It is the conflux of these unsubduable forces that specifies the diversity of the Institute, and adds to its heritage.

Allahabad Fort

The massive fort built by emperor Akbar in 1583 A.D., the fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna near the confluence site. In its prime, the fort was unrivalled for its design, construction and craftsmanship. This huge, majestic fort has three magnificent galleries flanked by high towers. At present is used by the army and only a limited area is open to visitors.The magnificent outer wall is intact and rises above the water'’edge. Visitors are allowed to see the Ashokan Pillar and Saraswati Kup, a well, said to be the source of the Saraswati river and Jodhabai Palace. The Patalpuri temple is also here. So is the much revered Akshaya Vat or immortal Banyan tree.

Sangam

Main attraction of Allahabad is SANGAM, the confluence of the three pious rivers of Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati and the site of famous Maha Kumbh Mela A month long event is organized every year beginning on Makar Sankranti (January, 14). Lakhs of saints, seers and pilgrims take a dip in the holy waters and stay (Kalpwas) on the banks of Sangam for meditation, prayers, religious discourse and salvation.
Other attractions near Sangam include an ages old Hanuman Temple and Shiv Viman Mandapam constructed by Shankracharya.

Varanasi

Varanasi, or Benaras, (also known as Kashi) about 125 Km from Allahabad is one of the oldest living cities in the world. Varanasi`s Prominence in Hindu mythology is virtually unrevealed. Varanasi is the microcosm of Hinduism, a city of traditional classical culture, glorified by myth and legend and sanctified by religion , it has always attracted a large number of pilgrims and worshippers from time immemorial. To be in Varanasi is an experience in itself an experience in self–discover an eternal oneness of the body and soul. To every visitor; Varanasi offers a breathtaking experience. The rays of the dawn shimmering across the Ganges, the high-banks, the temples and shrines along the banks bathed in a golden hue soul stirring hymns and mantras alongwith the fragrance of incense filling the air and the refreshing dip in the holy waters gently splashing at the Ghats.

Sarnath

Sarnath is located 13 kilometres north-east of Varanasi. Singhpur, a village one km away from the site, was the birthplace of Shreyansanath, the eleventh Tirthankara of Jainism, and a temple dedicated to him, is an important pilgrimage site.

How to reach Allahabad

Allahabad city is situated in the north part of India in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is well connected with flights, rail and road transport to other parts of India. Daily trains, buses and flights are available from major cities in India.

Allahabad By Air

Allahabad has its own domestic airport named Bamrauli airport which is 25 km away from MNNIT. Daily flights are available from New Delhi and Mumbai to Allahabad

Allahabad By Bus

Very good road services are available in Allahabad. UPSRTC buses give service to most of the cities in Uttar Pradesh. The Institute is about 10 km from the Main Bus Stand of Allahabad. From Allahabad bus services are available to Lucknow (200 km) and Varanasi (130km), the other nearest Airports.

Allahabad By Train

Allahabad has a major railway station in the heart of the city and is well connected to all the important cities in India. The Institute is about 10-12 km from this Railway station.

Anand Bhawan

Swaraj Bhawan

The old Anand Bhawan, which in the year 1930 was donated to the Nation by Moti Lal Nehru, to be used as the headquarters of the Congress Committee. Moti Lal Nehru renamed it as Swaraj Bhawan. Late Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born here.
